“Project Description: John 15:8 – 'This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.' The project consisted of a complete replacement of the church's audio and media systems and a major overhaul of the church auditorium lighting system. The construction project included the complete gutting of the original worship space and its transformation into a new and technologically advanced youth worship space, as well as the addition of a 1,300 seat balcony space in the church's main auditorium. Advanced Audio and Lighting of Peoria, Illinois, was selected as the AVL consultant and contractor for the project. As the project consultant, Advanced Audio and Lighting helped the church's Creative Arts Technical and Media Teams identify what the final and ultimate deliverables and expectations were to be and how to meet this project's needs.”

“In the past, we had dealt with several local and national AVL design companies. All our experiences were not satisfactory. For this project, our directive was “Go local, so we can look them in the eye, and get what we need.” That’s how we started with Advanced Audio & Lighting Systems. As the design process commenced, we really began to see the depth of Advanced Audio’s Technical Staff. They covered all the details and brought really great ideas to the table. They had it from top to bottom, from the major systems to the tiny details that come with a project of this size. This was a massive project, basically a $3 million complete rebuild from the ground up of our video, audio, and lighting systems. Advanced provided all the skills and trades necessary from their local shop. Advanced has expertise in audio design, lighting design, video design, and system integration. They processed and built an enormous amount of equipment, and handling a vast shipping schedule. And it was all top of the line products. Avid Venue, Nexo, ETC Prodigy lifts a complete Ross video system. We got the installation that we had tried for years to get from other vendors. Advanced dealt with issues as they arose and made sure we were “in the loop” at all times. Steve Nelson’s mantra was “We want you to be happy.” We now have the relationship we were always looking for with a local AVL design firm. We have a world-class facility with a local company standing by to meet our future needs.”
